BIO
ALEXIS CRUTCHFIELD
I started working in video production professionally in 2017, taking a job at ProFor, a video production company based in Austin, TX. I worked as a Bookkeeping Assistant in the office and a Production Assistant on set for clients such as TxDOT and McGraw-Hill. While working there, I obtained my Bachelor's in Journalism and Radio-Television-Film at The University of Texas in Austin.
In May 2018, I departed my home state of Texas for a colder climate - Chicago, IL.
While in Chicago, I briefly honed my client and project management skills at C.H. Robinson, a global logistics company, where I helped manage a compact yet diverse portfolio of clients including Ace Hardware.
In September 2019, I was hired at Production Craft, Inc and currently work there as a Producer, directing and supervising post-production for clients such as Medtronic, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and The National Safety Council. I handle crewing/logistical coordination for a variety of shoots from corporate (Boeing, Honeywell) to news (CNBC, C-SPAN) to EPK/BTS shoots for Amazon Prime and Fox. I manage and track all projects (anywhere from 10-30 at a time) of various sizes and in various stages of production across the company's 3 areas of business: Concept-to-Completion Video Production, Camera Crewing and Broadcast Studio Integration. My role extends to budgeting, talent search and negotiation, sourcing crew and locations globally, and contributing to the creative process through scriptwriting and storyboarding.
I am currently looking to continue my career where it all began, in Austin, TX
